Will Taylor is an outdoor writer, editor, producer and event coordinator. He grew up a free-range child of the water on the southern Oregon coast. Since he decided being an architect wasn’t for him during his first year in college, he’s gotten a journalism degree, rock climbed for months in Southeast Asia, surfed across the South Pacific, raced a SUP between Hawaiian Islands, sailed in five countries, learned to multi-pitch climb with his wife, helped start the biggest race in standup paddling, created video campaigns for the US Coast Guard, endlessly explored the American West in a Subaru before graduating to a van and documented it all via words and photos.
His mission: tell stories that get more people active outside and help people who like to get outside, do it more.
His work has appeared in Outside, SURFER, Canoe & Kayak, ESPN.com and many more. He was most recently the Editor-In-Chief of SUP Magazine.
